Enrollment confirmation provided upon receipt of registration and payment. Participants receive Zoom meeting credentials and course materials prior to each session.

Security Protocol: Each class session uses a unique Zoom link. No link is reused between sessions. Roll call conducted at the beginning of each class. Unregistered participants will be removed and blocked from the session.

Course Overview

This comprehensive financial education program covers advanced accounting principles, commercial instruments, monetary theory, and practical software applications. All sessions are recorded for participant review.

Curriculum

Double-Entry Bookkeeping

Complete instruction in double-entry bookkeeping systems, including debits, credits, journal entries, ledger maintenance, trial balances, and financial statement preparation. Students learn the fundamental accounting equation and its applications in commercial transactions.

Bills of Exchange

Detailed coverage of negotiable instruments and bills of exchange, including creation, endorsement, presentment, and discharge. Instruction covers both historical applications and modern commercial usage under current banking regulations.

Money Creation Theory

Examination of money creation mechanisms based on empirical research. Topics include credit creation theory, bank lending processes, endogenous money theory, and the distinction between financial intermediation and money origination.

QuickBooks Training

Hands-on instruction in QuickBooks software for business accounting, including setup, chart of accounts configuration, transaction entry, reconciliation procedures, report generation, and tax preparation features.

Compliance Standards

All instruction aligns with Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) provisions and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) requirements. Course materials reference current statutory frameworks and accounting principles.

Course duration: 16 sessions

Session schedule: Sundays at 2:00 PM CST

Prerequisites: Basic mathematics and computer literacy

Late enrollment available: New participants may join at any point during the course. Enrollees are responsible for reviewing recorded sessions of all previously completed classes. Access to all recorded sessions provided immediately upon enrollment to facilitate self-directed review of any missed, or future material.
